Parknasilla Resort and Spa located on the famous Ring of Kerry is now recruiting for its 2023 season. We are now seeking to recruit a Chef de Partie / Pastry Chef to join our extensive kitchen team.
Reporting to the Head Chef, your duties would include the following:
- Maintaining a high standard of food preparation
- Follow SOPs & instruction from Head Chef to ensure each dish is prepared to standard at all times.
- Ensure each dish presented is of high quality
- Follow all food safety guidelines & HACCP
- Respect of fellow work peers at all times
- Assist in the training of all Kitchen staff if required
- Ensure any H&S issues are reported
- Effective communication
- Work a shift pattern roster of 5 days over 7.
- Evening work would be required at times
- Be flexible to work in the various kitchen outlets within the resort
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience necessary
- Excellent communication skills
- HACCP level 1 & 2 qualified
- Manual Handling certified is desirable
- Must have positive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure
- Fluency of the English language essential
