Parknasilla is located only a 25-minute drive from Kenmare town.

Parknasilla is located around a 45-55 minute drive from Killarney, depending on which route you take.

The best route to reach Parknasilla from Cork, especially with the new bypass in place, is to take the N22 towards Killarney. From there, follow signs for Sneem along the N70. This scenic journey will take you through the beautiful countryside of County Kerry, eventually leading you to the doorstep of Parknasilla Resort & Spa.

We recommend taking the M7 to the M8 direction Cork then following N40 around Cork City to N22 (Macroom bypass) then turning left on to R569 direction Kenmare, then drive through Kenmare town and finally taking the scenic but twisting N70 to Parknasilla.

If you're traveling from Clare or Limerick, head towards Killarney and then continue on towards Newcastle West. From Newcastle West, take the N72 towards Abbeyfeale, and then follow signs for Sneem along the N70. This route allows you to enjoy the charming scenery of County Kerry as you make your way to Parknasilla Resort & Spa.

Yes. For Woodland Villa Guests: Please bypass the main hotel gates. The Woodland Villas have a separate, dedicated estate entrance located further along the N70. Look for the specific signage directing you through this independent gate, which leads you straight into the villa community and your designated parking area.

Arriving at Parknasilla: Choose Your Gate To make your arrival as smooth as possible, please note that the resort features two adjacent stone-pillar entrance gates located just 20 yards apart on the N70 Ring of Kerry.

Choose the gate that corresponds directly to your accommodation type:

The Hotel Gate (Kenmare Side): This is the first gate you will reach if you are traveling from Kenmare. Best for: Main Hotel Guests. Entering here leads you down our main scenic avenue straight to the front doors of the hotel for check-in and porterage.

The Lodge (Sneem Side): This is the second gate if coming from Kenmare (or the first gate you will meet if arriving from Sneem).
Best for: Courtyard Lodge Guests. This entrance provides a direct, natural route straight to the lodge, allowing you to drive up and park adjacent to your accommodation to easily unload your luggage.
