Do you wish to feel refreshed and recharged with some movement by the sea? Yoga at the water’s edge is a unique experience offered exclusively to our guests. Classes are curated with nature in mind and conclude with a deep relaxation to ensure your body and mind feel more relaxed.
Drink in the fresh air, relax in the beautiful, peaceful grounds of Parknasilla and relish in a movement practice which is guaranteed to help you to feel lighter and brighter. Absorb the calm and tranquillity of the natural coastal surroundings and embrace the peaceful view of the Atlantic Ocean. Orla’s classes are inspired by the natural elements, and her expert guidance will ensure that your needs are catered for within the class. All levels of experience are very welcome, and all equipment is provided.

Orla is an avid lover of the outdoors, and adores anything that involves the sea, adventure and having a good laugh in life along the way. Often, she weaves themes of nature into her offerings and she believes it is vital that we look after our own energy first and foremost before we step out into the world. The way that Orla teaches yoga is informed by many different facets, including Hatha Flow, Yin, Menstrual Cycle Awareness and effective self-care and meditation techniques and anecdotal knowledge gained from practising yoga in Ireland, Australia, Sri Lanka and Costa Rica. With an initial Honours Bachelor of Education in Physical Education and Irish, this brings a fresh scientific and embodied cultural awareness to her yoga teaching, too.
By practising yoga with her, it is her intention that you will develop a deeper understanding of your body, breath and energy levels.
