Delicious Dutch Style Pancakes

The Strawberry Field

The Strawberry Field Pancake Cottage is over 200 years old and has been run by Peter & Margaret Kerssens since 1997 and was passed down to their daughters, Yosta and Mayra in 2021.

The old dormer cottage was originally a family farmhouse, located on a sidetrack on the famous Ring of Kerry overlooking Slievaduff Valley. The area is a favourite with both tourists and locals alike.

Peter & Margaret turned the cottage into a little café/restaurant creating the space themselves as they have a great love for cooking and creating things. Keeping the traditional Irish cottage-style which makes it a cosy and homely restaurant, with a welcoming wood burning stove but with modern facilities.
