Dorothy's Beach

Introducing you to “Dorothys Beach” at Parknasilla.

A new addition to the resort, it can be accessed from the terrace to the Boardway pathway and is a fantastic place for enjoyment for all ages.

Named after Dorothea Bland, 1761 – 1816  granddaughter of Nathaniel Bland of Derryquin Castle, Parknasilla – courtesan and the mistress and companion of the future King William IV of the United Kingdom for 20 years (1791–1811) while he was Duke of Clarence. Together they had ten illegitimate children, all of whom took the surname FitzClarence.
