Summer Yoga Retreat

We are very grateful that Darina O’Shea will now be joining us as your retreat host and teacher in Karin’s place.

With over 20 years’ experience, Darina brings a rich and integrative approach to yoga, meditation and mindfulness. She began her training in yoga and meditation in Korea and India and has since studied a wide range of styles including Sivananda, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Anusara, Yin, Integrated and Somatic Yoga. Darina trained under internationally acclaimed Yoga Master Bharat Thakur in New Delhi and continued her studies in Barcelona with Xavier Sola and Pilar Ruberte. Over the years, she has also been inspired by renowned teachers including Tomas Zorzo, Danilo Hernandez, Nicolas Evans, Bridget Woods Kramer and Donna Farhi.

After seven years teaching in Barcelona, Darina returned to Ireland to open her own yoga and retreat centre near Kenmare. She is also a certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher with the Institute for Mindfulness-Based Approaches in Germany and actively brings mindfulness programmes to schools and local Mental Health Services.  Meditation and mindfulness remain at the heart of Darina’s teaching, and she continues to deepen her practice through ongoing study in India and Spain.

Aside from this change in instruction, all other details regarding the retreat schedule and location remain the same.

Day 1 – Monday May 25th

15:00 Check-in available from 3 PM.
16:30 Gentle Yoga Session
19:00 Group Dinner in the Doolittle Lounge.
20:45 Ending with a closing reflective meditation and breathwork session


Day 2 – Tuesday May 26th 

07:45 Energy Booster snack Breakfast
08:00 Energizing Morning Yoga Flow, ending with journaling to cultivate inner awareness.
10:15 Breakfast in the Pygmalion Restaurant.
11:00 Foraging experience with Mo Stafford
13:00 Lunch at your leisure in the Doolittle Lounge.
14:00 Free time to rest, reflect, or immerse in nature.
18:30 Nourishing dinner in the Pygmalion Restaurant.
21:00 Guided Meditation & Breathwork


Day 3 – Wednesday May 27th

07.45am – Energy Booster Breakfast
08:00am Closing session—grounding yoga flow for balance and rejuvenation.
09:00am Breakfast in the Pygmalion Restaurant.
10:15am Sound Bath Session with Claudia Grodotski
11:00am Closing ceremony with Darina (Brief session to close the retreat).
