Killarney House & Gardens
Now fully restored to its former glory, Killarney House and Gardens is located in the very heart of the town is now rightly placed to be the gateway of the towns most spectacular attraction Killarney National Park. For years the spectacular property and surrounds potential had been to much dismay to locals, however, Killarney House and Gardens reopened in 2016 after a badly needed €7 million investment that restored the house and gardens to a style reflecting the style of an 18th century French Chateaux and 20th-century Edwardian properties.
In 1861, Queen Victoria stayed in the property during her visit to the town and fittingly in 2018 her great-great-great-grandson Prince Charles along with the Duchess of Cornwall Camilla made an official state visit to the restored house and gardens.
